We are UC faculty members who have come together over the last academic year to strategize about a winnable campaign in which UC faculty organize to create a responsible investment option that better reflects our understanding of our responsibilities in the world.
This includes investing in companies that support the well-being of people and the planet, and divesting faculty pensions from industries and companies that consistently and directly enable or facilitate state violence including military aggression and occupation, prisons, border security regimes, apartheid and genocide.
